President

In his role as President of CTL, Erik oversees all domestic and international operations for CTL.  Since becoming President in 2014, he has set the direction for CTL in product strategy, account expansion, operational efficiency, and growth strategy.  Under his leadership, CTL has won numerous awards for its products, growth, and community involvement. Prior to becoming President, Erik served in key roles at CTL including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Erik holds degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Oregon and completed Cornell’s Executive Leadership Program in 2016. In addition, Erik is a licensed CPA  and serves on several executive and advisory boards, including Intel’s Board of Advisors and Western Oregon University’s Finance Committee. Erik was recognized by the Portland Business Journal on the prestigious 40 under 40 list which identifies rising business stars.

In his spare time, Erik enjoys running, playing music, and spending time with his family. He lives in Portland, OR with his wife and identical twin boys Nikko & Viggo.

Mike Mahanay

Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

Mike Mahanay is the Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at CTL Corporation. As CMO, Mike leads CTL’s marketing efforts, including demand generation, communications, strategic events and branding for one of the world’s leading Education Chromebook brands.

He has more than 20 years of international sales and marketing, leadership and brand management experience. Prior to joining CTL, he spent six years at Russell Stover and Whitman’s Candies, where he helped lead the company’s international expansion as Western Canada Division Manager, establishing Russell Stover as one of Canada’s leading consumer packaged goods brands.

Mike has a passion about the transformative potential of technology in education and has served as both a Trustee and as the Chair of the Western Oregon University Foundation.

He graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.S. double major in economics and psychology, holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with concentrations in financial management and digital marketing. He is a member of the CMO Council, is the founder of Take Back Main Street, a non-profit advocate for small local business, and has served on the Board of Directors of Glow Networks and Retronics.

Stephen Moll

Stephen Moll

Vice President of Purchasing and Operations

During his over 20 year tenure at CTL, Stephen has advanced from managing the customer service division, to working as the Director of Purchasing, to fulfilling the Director of Operations role. In his current position as the Vice President of Purchasing & Operations, he is responsible for domestic and international vendor relations, as well as the internal warehouse operations covering logistics in shipping and receiving, system integration, planning and implementation.

Stephen earned a double major in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Portland. His accomplishments include co-founding NASBA, an association for system builders, and being a contributing channel member of multiple North American distribution partners.

In his spare time, Stephen likes to golf and spend time with family and friends.

Jeremy Burnett

Director of Engineering

Jeremy Burnett joined CTL Corporation in 2012 to manage all aspects of technology operations, ranging from engineering to production and support. In addition to building a team of 20+ employees committed to quality and service, he implemented best practices and significant process improvements to increase production rates while preventing quality issues.

Jeremy has been instrumental in new business development, revenue generation, and new product introductions. One of his largest contributions has been with Nevada Ready 21, a state funded initiative to provide students with technology-rich education solutions throughout Nevada. By working closely with district and school administration, Jeremy architected and directed implementation of device rollouts, wireless networks, and the creation of a support center in Las Vegas supporting students throughout the state including one of the countries largest school districts, CCSD. He also introduced and rolled out a Google Chrome OS solution for education that has become a material portion of CTL’s revenue and growth.

With over 15 years of experience in strategic, fiscal, operational, marketing, and manufacturing leadership, Jeremy successfully works with all business lines to resolve complex issues. His career began as a Project Engineer at Georgia Pacific where he justified, planned, purchased, and installed equipment for projects valued at more than $2M. As Co-Founder and President of Danger Den, LLC for 12 years, Jeremy created strategic marketing alliances and was credited with growing sales YOY, increasing production capabilities by 4x, reducing manufacturing costs by 50%, and saving over $50K in advertising costs annually.

Jeremy holds three degrees: an MBA from the University of Portland, BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University, and BS in Applied Science from George Fox University. When he’s not executing strategies to grow revenue, innovation and customer satisfaction at CTL, Jeremy enjoys family time, outdoor activities, and tinkering with technology and automation.
